Trump: 'Russia Continues To Say They Had Nothing To Do With' US Election Meddling
  • 6 years ago
President Trump on Thursday again tweeted about the Russia probe.

President Trump on Thursday again slammed special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russia's interference in US elections, tweeting that Russia denies engaging in any meddling.
"Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with Meddling in our Election! Where is the DNC Server, and why didn't Shady James Comey and the now disgraced FBI agents take and closely examine it? Why isn't Hillary/Russia being looked at? So many questions, so much corruption!" Trump wrote.
The post follows his tweet from Saturday, in which he stated: "@FoxNews Poll numbers plummet on the Democrat inspired and paid for Russian Witch Hunt. With all of the bias, lying and hate by the investigators, people want the investigators investigated. Much more will come out. A total scam and excuse for the Dems losing the Election!"
Trump has repeatedly dismissed the Russia probe as a "witch hunt."
"Despite the disgusting, illegal and unwarranted Witch Hunt, we have had the most successful first 17 month Administration in U.S. history - by far! Sorry to the Fake News Media and 'Haters,' but that's the way it is!" Trump tweeted last month.
His remarks come weeks after the Senate Intelligence Committee leaders said in a joint statement that the panel agrees with the U.S. intelligence community's assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election "for the purpose of helping Donald Trump and hurting Hillary Clinton."
