When ‘Wannabe Entomologist’ Lisa Van Kula Donovan tore open a months-old egg sac laid by a golden orb spider in her Queensland home, she was surprised to find that the baby spiders nesting inside were alive and well.In the video uploaded to Instagram on June 24, Donovan said she’d believed it to be a “bad sac” as it had remained dormant for so long.“Oh my god, they’re alive!” she can be heard saying in the video as the babies emerge.
