I am sure you have driven under a tunnel and at least know how to get out of it following the signs right? Tunnels are a very easy way to get form one point to another faster than going above ground. Animals have a very interesting interpretation of tunnels, There is a clever critter from the middle east that thinks tunnels are great as well. The Savi’s shrew is a tiny mouse-like mammal that is so small it uses the tunnels dug by large earthworms. Not only do they use it to move faster underground but also to protect themselves from predators who are lurking above ground. Thank goodness for us, we have street signs and are not following the worm… we may end up in china!

We all have seen the x-rays taken of people who have broken bones. The way the body is displayed in sheet is almost magical, according to studies, dolphins can pretty much to the same identifying us humans as one of the mammals. Using their sonars, they can check our skeletal structure. There are countless stories of dolphins helping people remain safe from sharks and specially stay afloat. I am sure they understand we are mammals as well and need to breath!! They know all about that!
