North Korea has decided NOT to hold its annual (quote) "anti-United States rally" this year.
The move is being seen as a public gesture to improve its relations with Washington following the Singapore summit on June 12th.
The AP reports that Pyongyang skipped the rally which is held annually on June 25th, the day in 1950 when the Korean War broke out.
It explained that more than 100-thousand North Koreans gathered for last year's rally.
North Korea also decided not to release its customary "anti-U.S. imperialism postage stamps,... which are normally released for a month at this time of year.
