Pigeons illuminate East London with spellbinding light display

More than 1,500 pigeons bearing LED lights were released into the night sky in East London over the weekend.
The project was the result of an artwork called 'Fly By Night' by US artist Duke Riley.
The event was held in Thamesmead and was a homage to WWI messenger pigeons.
