Kushner Criticizes Abbas, Says U.S. Peace Plan Will Continue

According to a report by Reuters, Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's senior advisor, said that Washington's Middle East peace plan soon would be rolled out with or without Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas. Kushner reportedly told Palestinian newspaper Al Quds that he doubted whether Abbas was willing or even able to seal a deal. Kushner reportedly said, “If President Abbas is willing to come back to the table, we are ready to engage; if he is not, we will likely air the plan publicly.
