Start a diary

It is best to start a diary/journal when you are young, then you are use to making regular entries, but you can start at any point in your life. It is not just simply to record what you have done, but how you feel, and your hopes and fears for the future. When it comes to mental health issues, a diary can often indicate specific patterns of behaviour a person engages in and certain aspects of their life which they are not consciously aware of.
