The myth that a pot of gold lies at the end of the rainbow can finally be dispelled: it seems that there might not be any end to the rainbow at all!

In this rare event, captured by a drone operator in Omagh, Northern Ireland, the rainbow clearly stretches out into a full circle, with the bottom half of the bow connecting up with the more traditionally visible top arc.
