Taken from Haze's forthcoming album on Sandy Rivera's Blackwizz label, 'Freak' is the result of a collaboration between two producers at the very top of their game. Described by Hardsoul's DJ Roog as 'the new House sound', 'Freak' is a darkly soulful track with a hypnotic vocal provided by Haze himself, and powerful, driving kick drum and catchy hook you'll be whistling long after the club has shut. The Original Album Version falls somewhere between tech, funky and deep House, taking influences from each and producing a peak-time floor-filler, while (as the name suggests) Sandy's Deep Mix takes the track to lower levels, concentrating more on atmospheric pads and effects than the former. Jamaal's Club Mix is pure electro House, forsaking most of the vocal make way for punchy synths and eerie, sweeping effects.
