A kind Irish policeman made a young man’s day when he helped him gain access to the standing area of Taylor Swift’s Dublin concert at Croke Park on June 16.A video shared to Facebook by Gavin Coventry shows a member of An Garda Siochana standing beside the boy. The boy, who has special needs according to Coventry’s post, can be seen standing beside the garda wearing a high visibility jacket as well as the garda’s hat.Coventry wrote his post that the young Swift fan was trying his hardest to get into the standing area on the pitch, but was refused by the stewards because he didn’t have the correct ticket.“One of the on duty guards came over and gave his hi vis body armour and hat to the little fella and brought him out front for about 10 minutes,” Coventry wrote alongside the footage. The video of the garda and the boy had over 450,000 views at the time of writing.
