Kate Spade’s Dad Dies Less Than Three Weeks After Designer’s Death

On Wednesday, father of Kate Spade, Frank Brosnahan, died less than three weeks after her suicide.
“We are deeply saddened to announced that Katy’s father, Earl F. Brosnahan, Jr. (Frank), passed away last night at age 89. He had been failing in health of late and was heartbroken over the recent death of his beloved daughter.” The Brosnahan family in a statement to Us Weekly.
Frank is survived by his five living children: Missy, Earl II, Ann, Reta and Eve and their kids.
