A US coach company employee based in the Northeast told coach passengers they must be US citizens in order to ride the bus. There is no US law that prevents non-citizens from riding buses.

In the video, US Custom and Border Patrol officials question individuals lining up to board Concord Coach Lines about their immigration status. Passengers are aware of their rights and decline to answer.

The filmer, 26-year-old Alec Larson – an activist and law student – said there may have been a racial element to the occurrence. "Only non-white passengers were asked to show documentation," Larson told Newsflare.

Larson also blamed the coach company for its complicity. " Concord Coach is a private transportation company with no obligation to comply and cooperate with CBP. They chose to allow these checkpoints," he said. "If Concord Coach doesn't feel obligated to protect its customers from racially-discriminatory harassment, customers have the right to know that."
