Wildlife ranger was almost crushed by a 30ft python

This is the moment a wildlife ranger was nearly choked by a 30ft python after he posed for a selfie -- with it wrapped around his neck.

Range Forest Officer Sanjay Dutt was called to a village when a huge snake was spotted lurking near a school to prey on a herd of goats.

The crowd applauded after Mr Dutt and his team intervened - but was shocked when he put the snake around his neck.
