Rome City and Surrounds Visitors' Guide

Rome City and Surrounds Visitors' Guide. It is a reasonably safe place to walk around, but beware of pick-pockets particularly on trains and crowded places. The water in this city has a lot of calcium, and you get to see white stuff and sediments after boiling the water. However, a taxi driver indicated that it is safe to drink but I think it is still safer with bottled water. Despite this, Rome is a great place to visit, with wonderful monuments, churches, sculptures and works of Art. There is also a City Tax which the hotel might charge you at the end of your stay.
