A Jacksonville restaurant has responded to a video shared to Facebook on June 12, which shows maggots crawling in food that is claimed to have come from its kitchen.Keondora A White shared the video to her Facebook account after she ordered takeout from Caribbean Sunrise Bakery and Restaurant, alleging that she found maggots in the dish.Caribbean Sunrise Bakery and Restaurant initially responded in a now-deleted Facebook post, stating that “all foods that could have been compromised have been discarded, and all uncooked foods are being inspected before cooking.”However, owner Denise Daley has since spoken to local media about the incident, saying “if it did happen it was an isolated incident.”The footage had over 100,000 views at the time of writing.
