An orphaned kangaroo demanded some play time and wouldn’t let go of his “dad”, as seen in this footage filmed at Our Haven Wildlife Shelter in Golden Beach, Victoria, on June 18.Theresa Matthews and her husband, Tony, rescued Spud the roo from his sick mother’s pouch when he weighed only 2 kg. His mother died but fortunately Spud had been in good hands – he had since been bottle-fed for around 13 months.As if knowing he would be released into the wild in spring, Spud seized the opportunity to play with his human parents.
