How to Fix "number of CPUs and acceleration options are grayed out" in Virtualbox on Windows 10 Host?

Method 1:

You need to Go to your "BIOS" settings and enable Virtualization Technology. For entering BIOS you need to press function keys like f5, f6, f10, esc, del when you see blank screen while booting up of your computer. For example:-

i) I have HP laptop. So, I need to press f10 key to enter BIOS while powering up.

After Entering BIOS, you need to Enable Virtualization Technology and you will solve this problem easily.


Method 2: Disable 'Hyper-v' in Windows features.

Step 1: Go to control panel.

Step 2: Click on 'Uninstall a program.'

Step 3: Click on 'Turn Windows Features On or Off.'

Step 4: Find 'Hyper-v' Disable it, if it is turned on by unchecking it.
