Newser reports that a California mortuary became an unexpected terror zone Thursday night when gunfire broke out. The shootout injured five people. the San Francisco Chronicle reports, police say they found three injured people when they responded to 911 calls about a shooting at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Police say they found a fourth person with gunshot wounds while investigating the shooting. A fifth took themselves to the hospital.
