Allen Hughes Explains Difficulty In Clearing Tupac Scene In ‘The Defiant Ones’

Allen Hughes has created a four-part HBO documentary called “The Defiant Ones.” In it he profiles hip-hop producer Dr. Dre and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine. In an interview with SFGate Hughes revealed the hardest footage to get cleared. Hughes said the Tupact Estate made some changes to a scene of Tupac at the gun range. He said the family was sensitive about taking things out of context, especially relating to guns.
