But what makes Brad Bird so special? From his start at Disney to his work on “The Simpsons” and “Rugrats,” to his 2D animated masterpiece “The Iron Giant,” Brad Bird has had a massive influence on the art of animation. His live action films are great too, like “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” and “Tomorrowland” — but we’ve always hope he would return to animation before too long. From superheroes to suburbia, Brad Bird is one of the most versatile animators around, and although we had to wait quite a while for a sequel, “The Incredibles 2” looks like it will be a smashing sequel to the beloved first film.
