Members of the Uruguayan Army stationed across the globe wished the national soccer team good luck as they prepared to make their debut in the 2018 World Cup with their opening game against Egypt on June 15.In footage shared to YouTube on June 14, members of the army from around Uruguay, as well as places such as Colombia, Pakistan, the Central African Republic and Antarctica “kick” a ball to each other, as the camera jumps from outpost to outpost for Uruguayan troops.The video even includes army members who parachute out of a plane with the nation’s flag in their grasp.
