Quake on Indonesia's Madura Island Damages Dozens of Homes

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake rattled Sumenep district, on the Indonesian island of Madura, northeast of Java, on Wednesday evening, June 13, injuring at least six people and damaging at least 77 houses, authorities said.The quake struck around 8 pm local time, reportedly when people were performing tarawih prayers, a ceremony on evenings during Ramadan.This video shows extensive damage sustained at one house in Bulaan village, which, according to a resident, Rozy Adjaa, belonged to a neighbor.
