Screen Rant reports that Director James Wan says Atlanteans will speak normally in underwater scenes in his upcoming Aquaman film.
In Justice League, the Atlanteans had protective bubbles over their mouths in order to speak, which received much backlash from fans who know better.
Wan told Entertainment Weekly, "People are overthinking it. They’re just gonna talk!"
EW believes the one difference though between characters talking on land and underwater, will be sound waves rippling through the sea.
