There were only a few days left to binge the eight seasons of his CNN series, Parts Unknown, but the streaming platform has extended the show’s run for months to come since Bourdain's death. In the series, Bourdain traveled around the world, meeting local chefs and embracing diverse cultures. A fan named Tanner Palin started a Change.org petition to keep the series on the streaming platform and Netflix listened. Tanner Palin Tanner Palin Bourdain died last week due to an apparent suicide while in Paris. He was 61 years old.
