Former President George H.W. Bush celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, and, in doing so, became the first past U.S. leader to reach the age of 94, notes CNN. The previous record for longest-surviving former president was held by Gerald Ford, who lived to be 93. Bush reportedly planned to spend his birthday with family at his Kennebunkport, Maine home.  His celebrations haven't always been so low-key. Bush marked his 80th, 85th, and 90th birthdays by jumping out of an airplane.
