A man claiming to be armed with a bomb and a handgun took at least two people hostage in the 10th arrondissement of Paris on June 12, and demanded that the Iranian embassy be contacted, according to Le Parisien, BFM, and other local media outlets.Police were engaged in a standoff with the man and cordoned off the area.
