US President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un met for the first time on June 12 as the two leaders participated in a historic summit at the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s Sentosa island.The summit aimed to ease the nuclear standoff between the two countries.The US objective during the summit is “the complete, and verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,” said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.This footage shows the two leaders departing a document signing ceremony.
