These people have never seen “Super Troopers,” and are experiencing the film for the first time.  

The 2001 American comedy was directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and takes place in the town of Spurbury, Vermont. At the beginning of the film, 2 of the troopers are berated by their boss for not making enough arrests. After a failed drug bust that involved a deceased woman with a monkey tattoo and a pile of marijuana in an impounded Winnebago, the troopers have to scheme against their rivals, the Spurbury PD, and work together to take down a group of drug runners.

The movie is definitely not without some weird antics and memorable moments, including a trooper chugging maple syrup straight out of the bottle and a drug runner attempting to avoid arrest by eating an entire bag of marijuana. In the spirit of the wacky film, “Super Trooper” first-timers dressed up as the titular characters, compete with camel uniforms and funny fake mustaches. They were even welcomed to nosh on some syrup while they watched. The overall reviews of the film were definitely varied, with some straight up detesting what they saw to others just being confused what it all was about.
