Martin the bat is lucky to be alive after being rescued by Denise Wade from a wrecking yard in Queensland, Australia.Martin was found in a very poor state after being concussed. The flying fox was severely dehydrated and had lost a lot of weight. Denise kept Martin on an IV drip for over 36 hours and finally, he started to come round.“Martin is now recovering out in the main flight aviary with lots of batty buddies to keep him company until he is well enough to be released back to the wild,” explained Denise.
