MARZAMEMI - ITALY, SYRACUSE
https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marzamemi

Marzamemi is a seaport village in the municipality of Pachino, about 2 km away, and is 20 km from Noto , the capital of Baroque . It is located in the province of Syracuse .
The village was born around the rug, then became a fishing harbor, and developed thanks to this last activity, still practiced today, also equipped with a Tonnara , one of the most important in Sicily. Marzamemi's tuna dates back to the time of Arab rule in Sicily. In 1630 it was sold by the owner to the Prince of Villadorata. The Villadorata reinforced the tonnara buildings, bringing from Avola and Syracuse the skilled carpenters, who later stayed in Marzamemi.
