Trump Dismisses Criticism On North Korea Summit Preparation: 'I've Been Preparing All My Life'

President Trump on Friday doubled down on his North Korea comments.

President Trump on Friday dismissed concerns about his lack of preparation for the upcoming summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
"I always believe in preparation, but I've been preparing all my life," Trump told reporters. "These one-week preparations, they don't work. Just ask Hillary [Clinton] what happened to her in the debates."
The president was reacting to the criticism he faced after suggesting on Thursday that he "doesn't have to prepare very much."
"I'm very well prepared. I don't think I have to prepare very much. It's about attitude," Trump said. "It's about willingness to get things done."
"This isn't a question of preparation. It's a question of whether or not people want it to happen. And we'll know that very quickly," the president added.
The highly anticipated summit takes place on June 12 in Singapore.
