A quick-thinking Florida officer managed to detain an armed robber who was threatening to kill people with a hammer — by throwing cans of beans at him. Major Jimmy Stanford, from the Bay County Sheriff's Office, hit the suspect with two cans of Bush's extra-brown-sugar baked beans after they were called to the scene with reports of an armed and dangerous man threatening employees at a Rainbow Store in Youngstown, Florida, on May 31.
