BJP leader Vinay Katiyar has made a controversial statement. He said that Vikas will not ensure victory in 2019 and the emphasis should be brought back on Ram temple. This comes just a day after Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi made a strong pitch for development saying that Vikas will be BJP's key electoral issue in 2019. Earlier, UP minister Om Prakash Rajbhar had openly questioned BJP's politics of social engineering and held it responsible for the defeat.
