Stranded Man Rescued from Buoy in Tampa Bay

Florida authorities responded on June 3, to a 911 call for a man stranded on a buoy some 3.5 miles northeast of Beer Can Island in Tampa Bay, Florida, according to a release from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.His friend, who was on the boat, could not save him because the boat was anchored and the battery was dead.
