Vegan Police Officer Rescues Kitten From 'Meth-Addled' Suspect

Seattle Police arrested a 33-year-old man on June 2 after he was reported to have thrown a kitten against the pavement in South Union Lake, and thrown a bottle at a woman who had offered him $100 to give her the cat.This video shows an officer comforting the kitten inside a police vehicle. The woman who tried to buy the cat off the suspect and who dialed 911 can be seen in the video asking the officer if he was going to give the cat back to the suspect, to which the officer responded: "Are you kidding me? I’m a vegan.”Seattle Police said that the kitten was examined by the Seattle Animal Shelter and was placed with a foster family.
