ZOMBE RESIDENTS SUFFER ANOTHER EVICTION, LEFT HOMELESS
84-year-old Loyce Mumba of Zombe in Lusaka West has completely been left homeless after suspected government officials demolished her last shelter.
It believed that some senior government officials in the company of other individuals who allegedly bought the land in question demolished the remaining structure on Friday night.
The first eviction of Zombe residents happened in 2016, on allegation that they were squatters.
Loyce Mumba has wondered why government has decided to evict her from the land she has owned since the 1950s.
