London Bridge attack anniversary: Police raid van used by terrorists
  • 6 years ago
Metropolitan police search the van used by terrorists during the London Bridge attack that left eight people dead and dozens injured one year ago today.

Archive footage filmed by journalist Kaine Pieri on June 3 2017 shows the crashed van being investigated by police officers on the south side of the central London bridge.

Three terrorists, Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba, launched a knife attack on the busy area on a Saturday night.

The trio were shot dead just eight minutes after the first call to emergency services.

A service will be held at Southwark cathedral this afternoon to commemorate the victims, with a minute's silence to occur at 4:30PM.
