FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas takes over 1st place in the Western Conference as they beat LAFC 2-1.

Reto Ziegler scored in the 25th minute making it his 1st MLS goal. Roland Lamah doubled the lead shortly after halftime with a goal in the 52nd minute.

Coach Pareja said it wasn't easy for the players to get out in that heat, but they played well.

FC Dallas heads to San Antonio for the US Open Cup Wednesday June 6th then it's back to Toyota stadium to take on Montreal Saturday June 9th.
