Nalisniki (налесники), cheese blintzes, cheese crepes, blinchiki. This Russian dish has many names, but whatever its called, it has remained on of the most popular dishes in our family for breakfast, lunch or a late night snack. \r

INGREDIENTS:\r

For the Crepes Batter:\r
\r
½ cup lukewarm water\r
1 cup milk\r
4 large eggs\r
4 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted. Plus more to sauté.\r
1 cup all-purpose flour (you can use ½ cup whole wheat flour and ½ cup all-purpose)\r
2 Tbsp sugar\r
Pinch of Salt\r
For the Filling:\r

8 oz package cream cheese, at room temperature\r
16 oz small curd cottage cheese\r
⅓ cup sugar\r
¾ cup raisins\r
Powdered sugar for serving (optional)\r
