Trump's EU Trade War Condemned By Theresa May As 'Unjustified'

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has condemned US Preisdent Donald Trump's "unjustified" trade war with the European Union. The prime minister says she's "deeply disappointed" in Trump's decision to impose tariffs on transatlantic trade. She called the decision to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports "unjustified." This has been her strongest criticism of the US president since he entered office. In a statement released Friday afternoon, the prime minister called for the EU and UK to be "permanently exempted" from all US tariffs.
