Amid steep price hike in petrol and diesel prices in the country, even lpg prices have now escalated, causing much grief to the consumers already suffering from steep fuel hike. Subsidised lpg prices have been hiked by a little over rs 2 , increasing the final price to rs rs 493.55. Non subsidied lpg prices on the other hand have risen by a staggering rs 48 to rs 698.50. The central govt came under immense criticisam from the oppn for the steep hike in fuel prices.. And with lpg rates also hiking, the oppn will have a field day slamming the govt over price rise.
