KSP - Using a Robot Arm to Dock

After watching a video of the ISS capturing the SpaceX dragon with the robot arm, I wanted to try it out in KSP.\r
I made alot of stupid mistakes like rendezvousing right before sunset, and leaving SAS on, but I stil think its too much effort compared to docking normally. Although, it did help when I ran out of RCS fuel.\r
