Zippo Lighter Treasure Gets New Lease on Life

Last year, David Freiheit got a metal detector and wasted no time hunting for treasure.In his first attempt, he discovered an old Zippo lighter buried 8 inches in the soil and although the lighter didn’t work he couldn’t wait to show off his loot in a vlog. A viewer informed David that Zippos have a lifetime warranty and they would repair or replace any of their broken lighters.Intrigued by this, David shipped the lighter back to the company with a little note.
