Why the United Kingdom has no National Day ?
Because it is made from four nations there is no British nation England Scotland Welsh and Ireland have their own national days.
England has no actual actual "Autonomy" from the other constituent countries that make up the union, but as part of the Blair/Brown reforms from the 97-2010 labour gov Scotland and Wales got more. (Even though in Wales there was very little actual desire for this), but this all led to "Why do the Scots not have to do what we say but they have a say on what we do" as English laws come from Parliament, whereas Scottish laws come from their Regional Parliament as well as Westminster.
