A man has appeared in court today (Thurs) after causing serious injuries to a woman after crashing through the wall of her home, a court heard.

James Sparham, 29, did not enter a plea after being charged with three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He is alleged to driven his high-powered VW Golf GTI vehicle through a house in Clifton Moor and caused serious injury to three people.
