Holders Spain Train Ahead Of Euro 2016 Opener Against Czech Republic
  • 5 years ago
Spain coach Vicente del Bosque gave little away on Monday (6th June), when speaking ahead of the country's final friendly before the European Championships.

The Spanish side kick off their Euro 2016 campaign against the Czech Republic on June 13, looking to add to the titles they won in 2008 and 2012

First though, a friendly against Georgia on Monday.

Vicente del Bosque's men have won the last two friendly games they have played - against Bosnia 3-1, and a 6-1 thrashing of South Korea.

Preparation has hardly been ideal though.

Del Bosque began training with just nine players who will travel to France, before being joined at the start of the month by 10 more.

The final four, who had all played in the Champions League final, only reported for duty on Saturday.
