This video shows the moment a community came together to help save a man's van that had become submerged by the incoming tide. Witness Clive Oxley captured footage of the event, which shows a Ford Transit being pulled to safety, with local residents rushing to assist. Clive said the van became stuck at around 3pm on the slipway in St Ives Harbour, Cornwall, as the owner went to check on his boat. The man tried to drive his van off of the sand but the wheels started to spin and became buried.
