A disabled pensioner was banned from her local post office because her mobility scooter is too big.

Beth Wakefield says was told her scooter would not fit into the narrow store and that she could not go inside the building.

The 79-year-old says that customers were "absolutely horrified" when she was told to leave the Post Office inside WH Smith’s store after going there to send a parcel.
