Prison sentence for reckless lorry driver who drove across a crossing after the barriers came down

A Bulgarian HGV driver who got stuck on a level crossing after carelessly driving across as the barriers came down has been jailed.
Tencho Hristov, 30, ignored warning signs that a train was approaching and drove his articulated lorry across the tracks.
But as he did so, the barriers came down, trapping him on the level crossing, where he was unable to reverse due to a queue of traffic which had built up behind him.
