Car dealer threatened with legal action by wrestling giant WWE
  • 5 years ago
A car dealer is preparing for a David and Goliath legal battle with wrestling giant WWE after they threatened to sue him over the name of his business - called RAW. Alistair Rowarth, 48, known to his friends as 'Big Al', has been running his car and van hire company Raw Motors for the last 16 months. But the small business owner was stunned to find that his new firm had angered the global wrestling brand who sent him an email threatening legal action. The multimillion-pound organisation runs a Monday night 'Raw' programme and the company has accused Alistair of breaching copyright with their logo design.
